What is Afterpay?

Afterpay is a flexible payment service that allows you to buy the candle supplies you need and then pay it off in fortnightly installments. It differs from lay by in that the products are shipped to you right away.

For candle businesses, it gives you greater flexibility to manage cash flow and pay for stock as you sell your candles.

Afterpay does not charge interest, however missing an installment results in a $10 fee, if you fail to make the repayment within a week another fee of $7 will be charged.

While they do make money of late fees Afterpay makes the majority of their revenue from charging us (the wholesaler) to offer you this service.

While there is a limit to the amount you can spend through Afterpay, this limit increases as you build up your credit score from using their service.

How does it work?

1. Choose Afterpay at checkout

Afterpay is seamlessly integrated with our website, all you need to do is choose Afterpay as your payment option at checkout.

2. Quickly create an account using your existing debit or credit card

As mentioned earlier, afterpay is split into four equal installments due each fortnight. Nominate the card you want to use and payments will be scheduled and automatically charged. (Please note: You must be 18 years or older to create an account.)

3. Instant approval

The account is created instantly using the personal details entered and you can continue to use this account to make future purchases.
