The Q230 is a very dynamic and versatile wax and is a great option for containers, votives and tarts. When making moulded candles they very easily unmould and have a beautiful partially gloss finish. The wax is ideal in containers when lower pour temperatures are used (however wet spots are inevitable). with this in mind, we suggest using it only with tins or containers with a solid colour.
The new EcoSoya Quantum soy waxes feature new technology that virtually eliminates frosting, allows for higher fragrance loads, higher pour temperatures and produces vivid colours. Candles made using Quantum 230 are highly resistant to frosting, allow higher fragrance loads, have a smooth top surface and an even burn pool with consistent colour retention.
